Hi! I'm Almond! I was rescued at ACT Spay/Neuter Clinic in Stockton, CA. I am a very affectionate, energetic, playful, and silly cat with a big pursonality! My foster mom also thinks I’m very handsome with my lynx point features and I couldn’t agree more.
Despite how playful I am, my foster mom describes me as a total “mama’s boy”. I love to follow her around, demand pets, and sit on her lap in front of the TV or when she’s in bed. My favorite thing in life is pets. I love long pets and ear scratches and face pets, and am a total purring machine.
A couple times a day, I’ll jump on the couch or the bed and “mrrr” and ask very politely (but insistently) for pets! Since I’m so sweet and love sit on laps, I make the best companion.
But I’m also very playful! While I love playing with my foster mom when she brings out the wand toys and laser pointers, I’m also great at entertaining myself with small toys around the house and by playing in the bed sheets. I get along with other cats and have a furiend in my foster home, her name is Rosemary (who is also looking for her forever family). Pets are my favorite thing and my second favorite thing is chasing Rosemary around and tussling with her.
When I was first rescued, it took me a little time to come out of my shell and gain confidence but now I’m a very confident cat! It still takes a little time for me to get used to new people, but once I get some pets and explore my surroundings, I become very comfortable!
I’m looking for a loving home with a furiend to play with and keep me company. If you don’t already have a kitty at home, you should consider adopting Rosemary too! We already get along really well. If you’re looking for a kitty with a winning purrsonality, you should apply to meet me!
You can see more of me in my foster home @tebs_and_cats.

Hi! I'm Alvin! I was rescued with my brothers Simon and Theo. You may have heard of Alvin and the Chipmunks but have you heard of Alvin and the Kittens? No? Well that’s us and I'm taking the stage to win your hearts! I’m a friendly, gentle, confident, playful and easy-going kitten. My foster mom thinks I’m the middle child because she says I’m the perfect balance of my brothers' gregariousness and independence making me all-around purrfect. I love humans and kitties alike. I'll wrap myself around your feet in hopes you’ll pick me up and give me lots of love or pick up a toy so we can play. I know it’s hard to resist my cuteness and I’m not hesitant to use this to my advantage. I get along well with other kitties but I certainly prefer playful furiends. Older kitties are great for snuggling but not so much for wrestling and playing chase and I sure do love to play! I have so much fun fooling around and wrestling with furiends and climbing the cat tree while playing chase. And when that wand toy comes out, watch out because I’ll catch it and won’t let go! When I'm not playing, I'm all about cuddling, even while you're sleeping. I love both giving and receiving affection and will purr while making biscuits on you. I’m looking for a home with fun and loving humans and a playful kitty furiend. If you don’t already have a kitty at home you should consider adopting me with one of the other playful kitties who are looking for their forever homes. I can't wait to bring lots of laughs and love to my new home! You can see more of me in my foster home here @sf_pawpals. |

Hi! I'm Amelia! I was rescued at ACT Spay/Neuter Clinic in Stockton, CA. I’m a social, curious, playful and gentle Tortie. I guess you can say I’m a little bit of everything good! I’m very easygoing and quite polite if I don’t say so myself. I never demand anything, although I might suggest things with my tiny and sweet meow. Humans peek my curiousity and I’ll always graciously acknowledge you. I’ll even follow you around to keep you company or if you’re up for it, to get some nice belly rubs and cuddles from you. I’m also playful and love a good play session. Whether I’m chasing a wand toy or bunny kicking a catnip toy, a daily dose of a active fun always makes me happy. It also helps my overall health. As you can see, I’m a tad bit chonky and am working on getting to a better weight. My foster humans recently transitioned me to wet food and are feeding me at designated times which will also help a lot. No more free fed kibble for me! I do prefer to be your one and only fur baby. I’m so well-rounded,... purrsonality-wise, not just physically... all you’ll need is me! Are you looking for a pawsome Tortie like me to join your family? |

Hi! I'm Andy! I was abandoned in a feral colony in Tracy, CA. I’m a super confident, friendly, playful and affectionate kitty with a sweet purr to top it all off. I’m having a blast playing with the other kitties in my foster home. We chase each other through the tunnel, wrestle, and bat our toys around the room. And when my foster human brings out a wand toy, it’s all about jumping and pouncing. So much fun! Yes I’m full of energy but I’m also full of love and affection to share with my human and my kitty furiends. I'll give you head bumps, plop down on your lap, purr and rub all over you while you give me pets and kisses, and when it’s time for bed, I’ll cozy up next to you. I'm looking for forever home with loving humans and a playful kitty furiend. If you’re looking for an adorable kitten with the purrfect balance of playfulness and sweetness, then I’m the one for you! You can see more of me in my foster home here @purrfect_purrminators and @gms_shykittyclub. |

Hi! I'm Blossom! I was rescued with my sisters and our mama in Tracy, CA. I wasn't even born yet when my mama ended up at the Tracy shelter. She was living with humans in an RV when the RV was impounded and the RV owner was arrested. A week later at the tow yard the staff kept hearing meows coming from the RV. That’s where my mama was! She was pregnant and ready to give birth. She went to the shelter for a short time until the organization Friends of the Tracy Animal Shelter stepped in to help and placed her in a safe foster home. Unfortunately, when my mama finished her mama duties, the shelter didn’t have space for any of us and weren’t able to help us find homes. But that’s okay because Give Me Shelter offered to help… yay!
I’m a super confident, curious, playful, and affectionate kitty. I love humans and am the epitome of a Velcro kitty. I love exploring and hanging out with humans while they go about they’re tasks around the house. And when I want your attention, I won’t hesitate to let you know (spoiler alert, it’s often!).
I love playing with toys and other kitties. My latest fav toy is the laser. It’s so much fun to chase around the room. I also like to chase and tumble around with furiends and would love to have a furiend in my new home to play with and keep me company. I have happily lived with other cats, and dogs too!
My big purrsonality and purrfected snuggle skills are bound to win you over!

Hi! We're Cadbury and Hershey! We were rescued in Doha, Qatar . We were rescued from a colony where a caring human was feeding us and other kitties. She fell in love with us and knew we needed to get off the streets and into a safe and loving home so she took us to a sanctuary where we flourished and showed just how pawsome we are. Then we went to a doctor to be vetted and that’s when they found out we’re FIV+. Unfortunately humans in Qatar think differently about FIV+ cats than they do here in the US. Even knowing how amazing we are, our rescuers knew it would be difficult finding a home there and they worried we might end up back on the streets if in the wrong human hands. We’re extremely handsome, super sweet, very loving and generally calm kitties, although we do have a playful side too! When we first arrived we immediately came out of our carriers to check out things and say hello. I was a tad bit nervous when I first came out of my carrier but after exploring the room a few times, I began asking for pets. After we had a chance to stretch our legs after our long flight and receive some love, it was time to head to our foster home! Yay! We were excited to greet our foster human and check out our foster home when we got here. We settled in nicely and now we’re having such a great time playing, receiving lots of attention, and finally being able to relax and not worry about the dangers and uncertainties we faced when we lived on the streets. This indoor lifestyle is incredible! We get to play chase and tag, eat lots of yummy food and relax with our human. I like to sit by our human’s feet while Hershey likes the higher spots so it works out purrfectly for everyone. And while we both love receiving attention, especially in the morning, we never compete for it. We’re looking for a home together, preferably with a multi-human family so we can receive extra love and attention. We traveled a long way to find our forever home and are so excited to finally have a family to share our love! You can see more of us in our foster home here @returnoftheyeti. Concerned about me being FIV+? There's lots of informative reading material online to free you of any worries. I can live a long healthy life and safely with other cats, meow. Hi! We're Calvin and Hobbes and boy oh boy do we have an incredible story for you! We were found outside and taken to the Peninsula Humane Society. Sadly no one was looking for us so our journey to finding our furever family began. We were adopted but just a few months later, our previous family decided they didn’t want us anymore . They asked that someone from the shelter pick us up from our home but when the person from the shelter arrived, Hobbes was missing! No one knows what happened to Hobbes, only that he somehow had gotten out of the house. I was taken back to the shelter without Hobbes and I was very distressed being back there without my best furiend. Thankfully Give Me Shelter offered to help by getting me out of the stressful shelter environment and giving me a safe and loving foster home where I can decompress. Then something incredible happened! About a week after I arrived in my foster home, Hobbes was found by a Good Samaritan and taken to the shelter! Hurray! Fortunately, the shelter knew Give Me Shelter wanted to reunite us so the shelter made a very important phone call and now I’m back with Hobbes! I’m a playful, sweet, and gentle kitty. I’m initially more nervous in new environments than Hobbes is and it takes me a longer to warm up but Hobbes really helps me out by making me feel more at ease. He’s the best! We both love spending time with humans and receiving attention from them. We’ll ask for pets and cuddle up next to you so it’s easier for you to give us attention, yes, we’re very thoughtful. Hobbes tends to ask for more pets than I do while we’re settling in but I’ll let you in on a little secret… I love them just as much as Hobbes does and am always happy to receive them, it just takes me longer to ask for them. When we aren’t relaxing in the sun or by the window, we like to play! We have lots of fun playing together and we’re excited to play with all of our new toys. We also love to play with our humans and for me it’s especially a great way to build trust with them more quickly. Whether I’m batting a toy around, leaping for a wand toy, or wrestling with Hobbes, I’m always in when it comes to having some fun! We're looking for a quieter home with loving humans who know it will take us a little time to open up. Will you give us your patience, love and some sunny spots for naps? We purromise we're worth all of this and more! You can see more of us in our foster home here @tunaluvrs. |

Hi! We're Chia and Sesame! We were rescued in the Central Valley. I’m a sweet, affectionate and playful Tabby girl with a cute white chest because Tuxedos run in the family. I’m initially shy in new environments and was even spicy for a minute when I first arrived in my foster home, but my short-lived spiciness wasn’t even hot like cayenne pepper, it was mild like turmeric... hehe. Once, one of our foster mama’s friends called me a little lioness right before picking me up and giving me lots of pets. My teeny lioness hiss didn’t scare her even a little bit. I laugh about it now because spending time with my foster human is one of my favorite things to do! Once we’ve spent a little time together, I’ll show you my sweet, cuddly and affectionate side… this goes for both humans and kitties. I made furiends with one of the previous foster kittens here and started following him around and even napping with him. He was quite confident and I cerrtainly learned a lot from him. One of the most noteworthy things I learned is that being right next to humans comes with lots of rewards like pets, kisses, compliments and sometimes even a yummy treat. It took me a little time to get used to all of the unfamiliar things around here and some of the sounds still sometimes startle me but only the really loud ones. My foster mama has been telling me how much fun it is watching me open up and reveal a little more of my adorable purrsonality each and every day. I'm bonded with my sister Sesame and we're looking for a home together. We're so excited to meet our new family and have lots of fun with them! Hi! My name is Clover! I was rescued with my sisters and our mama in Tracy, CA. My sisters and I weren’t even born yet when my mama ended up at the Tracy shelter. Unfortunately, when my mama finished her mama duties, the shelter didn’t have space for any of us and weren’t able to help us find homes. But that’s okay because Give Me Shelter offered to help… yay! I initially come across as being shy but really I’m a spunky, observant, somewhat independent, and adoring mini panther. Some of my favorite things are sunbathing, looking out the window, lounging on the cat tree, and being adored by humans.
While I do enjoy my personal space, I also enjoy human interaction. I’ll happily rub on your legs, visit you in the bathroom and at other not so convenient times, meow a sweet meow when I want some love, and observe you while you’re going about doing human things. I love humans and receiving pets from them. I get so excited when I’m receiving pets that it’s sometimes hard for me to sit still. I’ll headbutt your hands to keep the pets coming and will squirm around to make sure every part of me receives pets… hehe!!
I also enjoy the company of furiends and it would be great to have one in my new home to play with and keep me company. I have happily lived with other cats, and dogs too!
My sweet purrsonality and beautiful golden eyes are sure to make you fall in furever love with me.

Hi! I'm Fizzy! I was rescued at ACT Spay/Neuter Clinic in Stockton, CA. I’m a confident, playful, affectionate, chatty and energetic kitty.
Here are some (but not all) things that make me so special:
Playtime Prodigy: I LOVE to play! Whether I’m darting across the room, jumping over baby gates, or leaping from shelf to counter, my energy and agility are unmatched. I even play fetch with my little toys – talk about talent!
Blanket Burrito Expert: I have a soft spot (literally) for cozy blankets where I can make daily biscuits. I’ll melt your heart kneading away and hiding under covers, my favorite little hideout.
Curious and Observant: A window perch and some catnip, and I’m one happy kitty! I’m a treat lover (especially Churu) and enjoy wet food, making it easy to spoil me just a bit, or a lot.
Chatty and Engaging: I’m quite the conversationalist! I’ll chirp and chat with you throughout the day, especially if I’m craving a little extra attention. My adorable sounds are sure to make you smile.
Independent yet Inquisitive: While not exactly a lap cat, I’m always nearby, curious about what’s going on and exploring my surroundings. I’m somewhat of an independent spirit but love knowing you’re close by.
Although I’m very active and may not settle on your lap, I’ll definitely steal your heart with my joyful antics and love for companionship. I’m happiest when I have the freedom to roam and be part of the household activity. If left alone in a closed room, I’ll let you know with my adorable (though persistent) meows – I just love to be near my people! And I also love furry companionship too and would benefit from having a furiend around who will appreciate my playful nature.
If you’re looking for a lively, chatty, and social cat, look no further! I'm right here!

Hello! We're Freda and Holly! We were rescued with our sisters from a backyard in San Francisco and we're so glad to meet you. I’m a sporty, dynamic Tortoiseshell with a bit of spicy “tortie” personality to match. I can be a bit feisty at first, says the Tortie… hehe, but all I need is some time to relax and for us to get to know one another and then my playful personality will emerge. I love to play with the cat dancer toy and am quite the flying acrobat! Another way to my heart is offering me some treats and I’ll even lick Churus right off your finger. After some time and some play, I’ll happily welcome some head scratches and pets and will give you a little tap if I want more! I love spending time by the windows so I can surveil the neighborhood and like to meow at the people passing by. I would be happy as an only cat while I’m finding my rhythm in my new home. I will likely start off shy, but running laps around a cat tunnel and being provided with a rousing DaBird play session will soon bring out my exuberant purrsonality! I’m looking for a kind and patient, cat savvy human. My sometimes sweet and sometimes sassy purrsonality will win your heart! |

Hi! My name is Hazel and I’m an absolute sweetie! I was rescued in the Central Valley.
I’m gentle, curious, affectionate, and as you can see in my photos, I’m blind. I had an infection when I was younger that went untreated for too long and as a result, I lost my vision.
When I arrived in my foster home I immediately set out to explore and figure out the layout. That same night I was already climbing on top of things and I even slept on the pillow with my foster human! I love humans and love being loved by them. I figured out how to climb up onto my foster human’s lap on Day 1 because that’s a priority in my book. Laps are the best places to receive pets and scritches, are they not? I also love to follow my foster human around the house and I guess it’s super cute because my foster human tells me that every time I do it.
I haven’t shown much of a playful side yet but I really enjoy the company of other cats and would love to have a furiend in my forever home. I’m the purrfect companion to other kitties if I say so myself. I get along great with other kitties, especially those who are more into sunbathing and chilling on a perch or a lap and less into running around and bouncing off the walls.
I have an abundance of love to give and can't wait to share it all with my forever family!
You can see more of me in my foster home here @blocky_buds.

Hello! We're Holly and Freda! We were rescued with our sisters from a backyard in San Francisco and we're so glad to meet you.
I’m a very sweet and a little chatty Tortoiseshell without the spicy “tortie” purrsonality. I’ll greet you at the door when you come into a room and be sure to stay close with a few rubs on your legs, ready for lots of head scratches and belly rubs!
I love to play with you, and my favorite toys are the laser and the feather cat dancer. I can chase the laser around the room forever, and will show off my acrobatics for the feather cat dancer when it flies by. Lately I have added Peacock feathers to my list of favorite toys. I can't resist Peacock feathers disappearing under a blanket! Laser chasing and DaBird play sessions will bring out my trust and confidence.
I love spending time in the window watching the neighborhood go by and can’t wait to see yours! I have a streak of independence, but also get along well with my sisters and at times you'll find me snuggled up with Freda at bedtime. I LOVE treats, especially churus, and will be the first in line when it’s treat time.
I am in search of my forever home with a human looking for kitty love and will become your best friend and companion. I will be shy at first, but we’ll be playing and starting up the snuggling in no time.

Hi! We're Izzy and Mimi! We were rescued from a cat colony in Tracy, CA. We’re tuxedo twinsies with complementary purrsonalities. I’m a confident, friendly and energetic kitten. I’m the confident sister and am quick to warm up to new humans, new environments, and even new furiends. When I see the resident cat I purr up a storm and run over to him to rub up against his super floofy fur. I take the lead when it comes to meeting new humans and animals, exploring new environments, and playing with toys. I like to think of myself as the big sister and am always looking out for Mimi to make sure she feels comfortable. I love to play and have lots of energy to keep play sessions going strong whether they’re with our foster human or my sister Izzy, or both! Wand toys, tunnels, plush mice… you name it, I’ll play with it. I especially love to show off my hunting skills when the wand toy comes out! And when I’ve exhausted my energy, I’m all about snuggling with my sister for a power nap. Are you looking for two adorable Tuxedo sisters to add to your family? We’ve come a long way from our colony days and are really starting to feel safe living our new lifestyle. We’re loving all of the yummy treats and fun playtime we’re getting and will continue to need some encouragement from our new family so we become the best kitties we can be! You can see more of us in our foster home here @chez_haze. |

We're Julius and Rambo! We were rescued in the Central Valley. We’re two brothers from another mother, but united as furever family! I’m a curious but cautious kitty when I'm in a new environment. I’m not as forward and boastful as my brother right off the bat. I’m very aware of my world and will explore all the nooks and crannies while Rambo karate’s off every surface around me. I’m a little cautious around new people and like it when you make the first couple cuddle moves, but once I’m in your arms, my purr motor takes off! We zoom around the house and superman off sofas. Occasionally we get distracted and start doing our own things, and that’s when I might detour… but Rambo grabs my attention and directs me back to our favorite wrestling spots for more rumbling and tumbling. It’s all day wrestle-mania starring Rambo and Julius for your entertainment. Sometimes we need our human to pick us up to remind to take breaks and that human snuggles are just as fun, and we’ve already learned that they really are! We’ll even insta-purr when someone picks us up. Our favorite spot is right on your chest where we can boop our noses with yours… but be ready for the love bites… hehe. Together, we’re the perfect dynamic of bashful and boastful, with a passion for cuddles and play. Apply to meet us! You can see more of us in our foster home here @ramboandjuliuscuteness. |

Hi! I'm Kitters! I was rescued at Sacramento SPCA. I'm a big and handsome tuxedo and nothing matters more to me than getting loved on by my humans. I'm easy-going but there are couple things I'm insistent on. The first is my yummy prescription food. It helps me feel my best so it's important my future family continues to feed it to me. The second is no other cats. I'm not a fan of them and have historically been reactive to them. You've probably heard of cats being dog reactive? Well I can be cat reactive and it's important that I'm not exposed to other cats, even cats that are on the other side of windows and doors because they can upset me. I'm looking for a home with a family who has cat experience but doesn't have kids or other furry family members so I can soak up every last bit of your love and attention. If you’re feeling lonely, I’ll make the best companion for you. I’d love to go home with you today! |

Hi! I'm Marshall! I was rescued at ACT Spay/Neuter Clinic in Stockton, CA. I’m a confident, sweet, curious, playful and affectionate kitty with master level purrs and some serious biscuit making skills.
I didn’t waste any time checking out my foster home and meeting my foster family when I first arrived. I love receiving attention so I only hid for about 5-10 minutes before I came out to explore and introduce myself.
I love to play and have the energy to make playtime lots of fun. Count me in when the wand toy comes out! I’ll chase it and jump up in the air for it until I win by catching it. I understand that humans aren’t always available to play with me but I have lots of other toys, like my mouse, that I’ll happily play with on my own. There isn’t another kitty in my foster home but having a furiend to play with would be fun too.
When I’m ready for some down time, I like to hang out in my bed making biscuits or hanging out with you. Although I’m not much of a lap cat, I do like to be near my humans. Whether I’m enjoying some pets and cheek scritches or just laying about lazily with them, I’m a happy kitty when I’m part of group.
Are you ready to add lots of cuteness and fun to your home? Apply to meet me!
You can see more of me in my foster home here @mr_marshall_whiskerman.

Hi! We're Mimi and Izzy! We were rescued from a cat colony in Tracy, CA. We’re tuxedo twinsies with complementary purrsonalities. I’m a sweet, shy and playful kitten. I’m the shy sister and it takes me some time to open up in new environments and around new humans. I tend to err on the side of caution but steadily gain confidence each and every day. Thankfully I not only have my foster human to support me but I also have my sister Izzy to help me out! I feel best when she’s around because I know I can trust her. Watching her interact with the resident kitty, our foster human, and everything around us helps give me the courage to do the same. When it’s time to play, count me in! I love to play and I’m not picky when it comes to toys. I even have fun chasing my sister’s tail… hehe! My energy really kicks in when Izzy and I catch the zoomies. Not only do we love it but our foster human seems to as well because she laughs and tells us how silly we are. After an exhausting play session, nothing beats a cuddly snooze with my sister. Hi! I'm Misha! I was rescued in Stockton, CA. I’m an adorable, shy, and affectionate kitty. When humans meet me, they really want to pet me and I really can’t blame them because I am super cute after all, but I’m also cautious and shy in new environments and around humans I don’t know. I prefer to take things slowly while getting to know humans but once I know I can trust you, my sweet and affectionate purrsonality opens up!
I was nervous when I first arrived in my foster home and although I’ve been here a couple weeks, I’m still a bit anxious and am sometimes startled by unfamiliar things. It took me about a week before I began asking for pets and revealing my cuddly and affectionate side. I enjoyed receiving pets before I began asking for them, I just didn’t begin asking until I felt a little more comfortable and confident. Thankfully my foster human has been helping me feel more comfortable and there’s another foster kitty here whose much more confident than I am so he’s also been helping me.
I’m looking for a patient family who understands kitties like me need some extra time and reassurance to open up. I may be cautious and shy in new environments and around new humans but I purromise your patience with me will be very rewarding!

Hi! I’m Miss Scarlett! I was rescued from the Hesperia shelter in Southern California. I have a big personality and I love being with my person. Whether I’m hanging out on the couch with them or sleeping next to them, I’m always happy to spend time with them. I’m super confident and friendly. If you have friends over, I’ll be out and about to greet them. I love to play and can self entertain with a tunnel, mouse toy or a spring toy, but I really enjoy it when my person grabs a feather or wand toy and plays with me. What I’m not a fan of is other cats. I’m currently in a foster home with other cats but I would be happiest if I got to be on my own and be the queen bee of my castle. I arrived at the shelter with really bad skin issues as a “stray” kitty. Unfortunately, since I really can’t tell you my story, we don’t know the history of how my skin got to be that way. You’ll see that I have some missing hair and the vet thinks that it probably won’t grow back. There are three theories why the vet thinks I had the skin issue: 1) I had a severe allergic reaction to a flea collar, 2) I have a severe food allergy reaction to chicken or beef which caused me to scratch a ton, or 3) somebody did something bad to me and it caused the damage to my skin, but we don’t like to think about that one too much. You’ll also see that my right eye is a little squinty. The vet thinks that is due to the damage to my skin but there’s not actually anything wrong with my eye so nothing to worry about there. After treating me with both holistic and conventional medical care and a food change to remove chicken and beef, my skin has healed dramatically and I’m feeling so much better. I’m currently eating this yummy food: Instinct Minced Real Rabbit Recipe. I’m a huge fan of food and can become chunky if my human doesn’t manage my food intake so it’s best if I’m fed twice a day, which is just two servings of my favorite food. The rescue thinks with this change to my diet, my skin will continue to be happy and healthy. I know I can look a little quirky with my winky eye and my missing fur but I hope you can look past these quirks and see how adorable I really am. I really do have a winning purrsonality so any investment you make in me is 100% worth it. I absolutely love my humans, receiving attention, and playing. I do want to let you know that I also love to give love bites but I’m never aggressive. I’m a real sweetheart and I would love to finally find my forever home! Could it be with you? You can see more of me in my foster home here @purrfect_purrminators. |

Hi! My name is Misty! I was rescued in Kahramanmaras, Turkey after a Good Samaritan alerted Help Street Cats and Dogs, a local rescue that helps neglected, abused street cats and dogs. I was unsteady on my feet and having trouble walking while trying to survive on the streets. The rescue volunteers got me off the streets and took me to a vet. After many tests and x-rays, the doctors couldn't find anything wrong that would explain my unsteadiness but they did discover I was deaf. After receiving lots of love and care in a safe foster home, I regained my strength and ability to walk normally again! I thrived under the care of the foster volunteer in Turkey and became the beautiful, loving, and cheeky girl I am today. Kitties like me have little chance of finding a home in Turkey so with the help of @helpstreetcatsdogs and Maddie the flight volunteer, I flew across the world to find my forever family! The first, and probably the most important thing you need to know about me is I LOVE love. There is no pet, scritch or snuggle I've met that I have not enjoyed. I welcome all forms of loving attention. I like to bonk my head and rub my body up against your leg to give you a kitty hug, and my purr sounds like an engine with a cute little squeak to it. I’m beautiful both inside and out! Just look at my stunning white fur mixed with unique markings on my head and face. Although I can’t hear my foster human, I know she’s telling me how pretty and precious I am. I’m very well-behaved and my confidence is blossoming more and more every day. I am sometimes startled but I’m still getting used to my new environment. I might give a small hiss or a loud meow but immediately forget about it and continue on with whatever I was doing. My foster human smiles, and probably laughs, because I’m not a diva but can be a little dramatic when surprised, in the cutest way of course. I’m beginning to figure out how to play with the toys here and I think I’m really getting the hang of it. It almost seems to come naturally! There’s a resident kitty here who’s three times my size (and orange!) and I'm even warming up to him. I’ll be happy having a feline furiend in my furever home or being your one and only kitty. I can’t wait to meet my new family and share all of my love with them! You can see more of me in my foster home here @catsanovaa. |

Hi! I'm Mya but my foster pawrents call me Princess Mya! I was rescued in Tracy, CA. My foster meowmy says I'm a smart, affectionate, classy, playful and sometimes opinionated little girl. When she thinks I'm not listening, I hear her tell people I'm an exquisitely, gorgeous little specimen... I don't know what that means but it must be good. I'm stunning and I know it. I once looked at myself in a mirror and instead of doing that goofy kitten prancing stuff, I just stood there and admired myself. Humans obviously agree because they immediately want to pet me and hold me as soon as they see me. I can be a little bossy when picked up without having granted permission to do so, however once properly settled into a lap for my royal massages, I quickly forgive and provide countless lady-like purrs. I've been busy playing, relaxing, and watching my CatTV shows. My foster meowmy always laughs at my CatTV preferences. She doesn't understand why a city princess like myself has such interest in horses, cows and chickens... tehee. When relaxing on the top of my cat tree perch near the ceiling, I observe all below. It's soothing to watch my foster pawrents and foster furiend Woody from above. At first I didn't particularly care for my new foster roommate Woody, but after a few days, he won me over with his silliness and charm. Now we like to snuggle and tussle like we're sister and brother. I might be a little shy at first, but I have a fun-loving and adventurous spirit. Now that I've settled in, I'm even enjoying meeting new humans. Just a few weeks ago, I met eight new humans and was pleased to sniff their fingers and accept their adorations. I just need a slow introduction to my new environment, a room by room introduction works best for me! I'm looking for a castle where my humans will adore me and let me adore them. And I do need a furiend in my castle to play with and keep me company. If you don't already have a kitty at home, you should consider adopting my foster furiend Woody too. No awkward introduction needed because we already get along! I'm just about as a purrfect kitten as you could desire. Apply for me and find out for yourself! Hi! I'm Onyx! I was rescued at Peninsula Humane Society. I lost my previous home and family soon after I was forced to live with another cat. I was not happy sharing my space with another cat and started showing signs of stress. Sadly, my previous family decided the solution was to surrender me. I’m a mellow, sweet and handsome silver and white Tabby. I’m initially shy but I’ve been through some major changes lately which hasn’t really helped my confidence. Thankfully there’s a cozy kitty cave here so that’s where I headed to decompress. I spent most of the first few days in my cave while my foster pawrents came to me to offer comforting pets and treats. I wasn’t too interested in either but a few days later I walked out of my cave and even though I was still feeling shy, I asked for pets!
Two of my most favorite things are head scratches and laps. I’ll jump up on your lap and rub up against you while purring away. Sometimes I prefer to just lay next to you, all while emitting affection by looking up at you with my sweet eyes. I’ll even greet you when you come home and roll over to show off my belly.
I’m a very mellow cat and often spend the day snoozing in my bed. I’ll be present and say hello in the morning and then after a nice long afternoon relaxing and napping, I’ll come out again to explore and hang out with you. I’m not very interested in toys but will occasionally play when the laser toy or a stringy or feathery toy comes out. I might pounce or bat at it a few times before losing interest and going back to chilling with you.
If you ask me, food is more exciting than toys… hehe. I love mealtime and will do my cute little flops to get breakfast and dinner. I’m currently eating yummy wet food diet and it makes me so happy. I really need my new family to continue feeding me wet food. What’s that saying? Happy cat, happy life? Yes, I think that’s it.
I do still have some shy/nervous behaviors I’m working on that I need my new family to understand. I become nervous when I feel cornered or when someone is intruding into my safe area. And I sometimes become excitable prior to receiving my meal. I might give a hiss or pounce at your feet but please know, it’s just my way of letting you know I’m feeling a little anxious.
I’m looking for a calm and quiet adult only home where I can relax and share lots of love. My previous family let me down but I know there’s a loving family out there for me. Maybe it’s you!

Hi! I'm Palmer! After being with my previous family my entire life, I was surrendered because I'm not really tolerant of children and there was a toddler in the home. I was sad and heartbroken but lucky for me Give Me Shelter is helping me find a new family! I’m a handsome, social and confident cat. I was immediately comfortable when I first arrived in my foster home and even let my foster human pick me up and hold me. Resting my front paws on my human’s shoulder and nuzzling my head into their chin and neck while being held makes me feel so loved. And I love receiving pets although for me, there is such a thing as too much of a good thing. I can sometimes become a bit over stimulated when I’m held for too long or pet for too long and will give a gentle nip to let you know when I’ve reached that point if you haven’t already picked up on my cues. I’m a social cat and enjoy meeting new humans. I’ll run to the door to say hello when I hear someone and sometimes the neighbors stop and chat with me. Being the social cat I am, I have lots of fun playing with my foster human. The fleece wand toys are my favorites but I also fun playing by myself with some of my other toys. And although I'm a mature cat, I sometimes still get random bursts of energy and will run around and up and down my kitty tower which makes my foster human laugh. I’m also quite curious and I know it’s such a stereotype but I can be demanding when I want a closed door to be open. But don’t worry, my curious nature doesn’t translate to being impolite. I don’t wake up my foster human at night or jump onto counters or other places I shouldn’t be just because I’m a curious cat. I’m looking for a loving adult-only family and a forever home where I can be the one and only kitty of the house. I was with my previous family my entire life and it was a bit traumatic for me when I lost them and my home. I need a patient family who understands this and who will give me some time to bond with them. I know my family is out there and I can't wait to meet them! You can see more of me here @adopt.palmer. |

Hi! My name is Phoebe Fluffay! I was found on the streets in San Francisco and I’m ready to trade life on the streets for a safe and comfortable life indoors.
I’m a gorgeous, sweet, and mellow ear tuft goddess with master level purrs. I’m an affectionate kitty and will rub against you while soliciting pets, although I’m not really a lap cat… yet. And while I love receiving pets, I’ll let you know when I’ve had enough with a gentle paw tap (cue the tortitude). I really don’t need much fussing over because I’m quite happy just hanging out on my tree by the window and occasionally batting my toys around the room.
I’ll be happiest in a stable home environment with an experienced cat family. I feel most comfortable around adults and mature teens, and although there aren’t any other cats in my foster home, I was living on the streets with other cats and would enjoy the company of another kitty in my forever home.
I'm finally going to live the good life I deserve and I can't wait to meet my new family!

Hi! I'm Piccolo! I was rescued at ACT Spay/Neuter Clinic in Stockton, CA.
I'm a sweet and playful seal point Siamese mix boy, with the most beautiful blue eyes. My fosters say that I have galaxies hidden in them!
I'm initially shy in new environments and will need to warm up in a smaller space, like a bathroom, for the first few days. While I decompress, any form of encouragement, love and companionship from humans and/or furiends is much appreciated and will help build up my confidence faster.
Once we’ve spent a little time together, I’ll start to show you my sweet and playful side. I'll come out from hiding to welcome you in the morning and quiver my tail out of excitement when I see you. I'll headbutt you and rub my body against you to politely invite pets. I'll plop down, expose my belly and do a big stretch to show that I'm feeling more relaxed. I'll also show you my playful side! I love to run around, jump and hunt any toys waving around me. Oh, and playtime is also a great way to help build up my confidence.
I am friendly and submissive to other cats, and having a confident furiend around to lead the way will help me work up the courage to venture out and explore the bigger space more quickly. If you don't have another cat, don't worry, just try to spend more time with me! I purromise that once we bond, I will be your most loyal buddy.

Hi! My name is Prince Oliver! I was abandoned in a feral colony in Tracy, CA. I'm a playful and confident kitty, and I’m filled with love and energy! It didn’t take me any time at all adjusting to my foster home. I was immediately curious and wanted to explore every corner of the house. I haven't been afraid of anything yet, not even the robot vacuum! I absolutely love playing with all of the toys here and will do best in a forever home where my family plays with me every day. Whether you’re waving a wand toy around for me to catch or tossing a toy for me to chase, playing with my humans makes playtime extra fun! I love to keep my humans company and can be quite chatty. I also have a super loud purr that will melt your heart. My foster pawrents say it's genuinely the loudest purr they’ve ever heard! I have been taking my time in terms of being cuddly/tactile but I’ll always be near you no matter what you’re doing. I love head scratches, and will politely tell you when I’ve had enough with a gentle swat or a gentle nip. Are you looking for a purrfectly sweet and playful kitty companion? Look no further because I’m right here! You can see more of me in my foster home here @sf_kitties and my vacation foster home here @foster_kitties_sf. |

Hi! My name is Pugsley! I was rescued from a ranch in Galt, CA with my sisters Wednesday and Piper, and my brother Wally. I’m an adorable, curious, playful and silly kitten. I’m initially a bit shyer than my sister Wednesday but my foster mom quickly figured out the fastest way to win me over… food and treats. Food is the way to my heart!
I love humans and while I might act shy when we first meet, once the food comes out, I turn into a total mush with a loud purr motor. My foster mom laughs at how easily I’m won over with something as simple as food but in my world, food is the best thing ever!
Okay, okay, maybe not the BEST thing ever but it’s right up there with humans, love, playtime, and cozy naps. I like to attract attention by rolling around on the floor while exposing my belly. I know humans can’t resist my dance moves and will want to give me belly rubs and that’s all fine with me!
Curiosity always gets the best of me when my foster mom is busy doing things around the room. I love to watch and follow her around just to see what she’s doing, it’s all so interesting. My interest peaks when it’s mealtime and I’ll express it by serenading her with my silly kitten meows. And when my sister Wednesday joins in, it’s quite the purrformance.
Another thing that peaks my interest is playtime! I’m very athletic and have so much fun running around and leaping for wand toys. Not only are toys super, but so is playing with my sister. We love to wrestle and tumble and chase each other. And when I’m tired from playing, lounging on the cat tree by the window is the purrfect place to relax.
I’m looking for a home with a young and playful furiend. If you don’t already have a kitty at home, you should adopt me with my sister Wednesday. We get along really well and our purrsonalities complement one another really well.
If you’re ready to add some cuteness and silliness to your home, you should apply for me!

Hi! We're Rambo and Julius! We were rescued in the Central Valley. We’re two brothers from another mother, but united as furever family! Although I’m not a great chef, I’m a true foodie. I love to eat and I love to watch my humans eat too. You could say I have an avid mukbang hobby when it’s dinner time for the humans, getting up close and personal with curiosity. I’m also a brave kitty for only being a couple months old, leading the way to adventure and dragging my brother Julius along with me. Once we’re in full swing, Julius takes over and we become unstoppable. We zoom around the house and superman off sofas. Occasionally we get distracted and start doing our own things, and that’s when Julius detours… but I’m a good brother, always listening for his soft calls to direct him (mostly chase him), back to our favorite wrestling spots for a tackle. Together, we’re the purrfect dynamic of bashful and boastful, with a passion for cuddles and play. Apply to meet us! You can see more of us in our foster home here @ramboandjuliuscuteness. |

Hi! My name is Rosemary! I was rescued at ACT Spay/Neuter Clinic in Stockton, CA. I am a gorgeous and majestic kitty with lush fur and a big fluffy tail that I’m very proud of and that is adored by humans.
I’m so sweet and gentle, and I’m playful too! I love to lay around the house splayed out, and I love to accompany my foster mom on the couch and in bed. I always sleep with her and say good morning when she wakes up. I also get along with other cats and love to chase my foster furiend Almond around the house and tussle with him!
I’m still a little bit shy but my foster mom is very proud that I make progress every day opening up! When I first arrived at my foster home, I was pretty timid, but through following the example of my foster furiend Almond (and leading some exploration missions), I have really opened up and gained a lot of confidence! It still takes me time to get used to new people, but I open up a lot through playing with wand toys. For the most part, I’m pretty quiet, except for breakfast and dinner time when I love to meow and make my excitement known.
I love pets and I immediately start purring when hopping up on the couch or bed for pets. I also respond when I’m called — when my foster mom wants company and calls out to me, both Almond and I come running! I guess he doesn’t want to miss out on pets… tehe! I love to cuddle, and I have the softest fur and the sweetest little face. I’m actually a pretty small cat under my fluffy coat.
I love to accompany my foster moms on the couch for movie night. I love to cuddle with them for hours, repositioning every so often and alternating who will give me pets. I also love to look out the window. When passers by outside spot me, they often “ooh” and “aah” at how pretty I am!
I’m looking for a home with a playful and cuddly furiend. If you don’t already have a kitty at home, you should consider adopting me with Almond. We already get along really well so no introduction is needed. I can’t wait to be adopted and go to my forever home!

Hi! We're Sesame and Chia! We were rescued in the Central Valley. I’m a friendly, social, curious and playful gray Tuxedo girl. I was out and about the moment I arrived in our foster home and touching noses with the other foster kitties I had never met before. The first thing on my agenda was to join the other foster kittens who were already here having fun. I was tumbling and playing with them as soon as I left our carrier! It was like we all had known each other for all of our lives! The next thing on my agenda was introducing myself to our new human. I know humans love me and pets, hugs and kisses are guaranteed when I go to them and look at them with my sweet eyes. I love receiving chin scritches and being scooped up for snuggles. Our foster mama picks me up and lavishes me with attention and it’s pawesome! I'm bonded with my sister Chia and we're looking for a home together. We can’t wait to meet our new family and start having lots of fun with them! You can see more of me in my foster home here @blocky_buds. |

Hi! I'm Tuesday! I was rescued in Lockford, CA. I’m a gorgeous Dilute Tabico, although some people say I'm a Dilute Torbico. No matter which you think I am, the gorgeous part is not up for debate.
I’m extremely affectionate and will rub my head all over you while purring very loudly. I’m especially fond of rubbing against hands and fingers because that’s a proven way to receive pets. I can’t get enough pets and can’t sit still when I’m receiving them. Sometimes I get so excited I get a teeny bit overstimulated and might give you a nibble but not in a hurtful way. I also like to sit on laps and adoringly knead to express my love. When my foster human is working on her computer, I often jump up on her lap and lie down to share my purrs with her.
I’m pretty curious and like to explore but I’m still hesitant to jump up too high because everything here is new to me and I’m uncertain of what’s up above me. I haven’t really explored my cat tree or my window perch yet without the help of my foster human. And although there are lots of toys here, I’m not really interested in playing with them yet. I guess I’m just most interested in hanging out with my foster human and getting to know her better first. I’ll even follow her around when she’s moving around the apartment doing things. Spending time with my human is the most important thing for me, even if I’m just sitting on the floor near your feet.
I’m ready for my safe and stable forever home with a family who will appreciate and embrace my loving purrsonality. Maybe that family is you!
You can see more of me in my foster home here @tuesdaythetabico.

Hi! My name is Wednesday! I was rescued from a ranch in Galt, CA with my sister Piper and my brothers Pugsley and Wally. Am I the cutest? Yes I am. Am I the sweetest? Yes I am. And I may be small in size but my purrsonality is huge. I’m confident, playful, affectionate, and friendly. What more could you ask for?
I love humans and have been busy showing my foster mom just how much. I run to greet her when she opens the door, I sit on her lap while purring away and playing with her sweatshirt strings, and when she’s standing, I like to sit at her feet and softly squeak to get her attention. I’m very curious and love to watch her and follow her around while she does things in the room.
I also love to play and show off my athleticism! When the wand toy comes out, be ready because I’ll be jumping, running, and pouncing with spunk. Sometimes I don’t even need a toy because my brother Pugsley is here and we have so much fun wrestling and chasing each other.
When it’s time to relax and recharge for more love and play, I like to lounge on the cat tree by the window with Pugsley and watch the birdies together.
I’m looking for a home with a young and playful furiend. If you don’t already have a kitty at home, you should adopt me with my brother Pugsley. We get along really well and our purrsonalities complement one another really well.
My life balance consists of love, play and laze, and I can’t wait to share it all with you!

Hi! I'm Woody! I was found in a feral colony in Tracy, CA. I’m an adorable, sweet and playful kitten with a purrfectly innocent face humans adore. I can initially be shy in new environments but it doesn't last long. My foster meowmy helped me out by giving me lots of pets, lots of playtime, and lots of treats… okay maybe not lots of treats but even a few seems like lots after living on the streets. After spending some time getting to know my foster furiend Mya, I'm enjoying lots of cuddles and playtime! I love to play and have been busy chasing toys, practicing my tumbling skills, and fooling around with Mya. I’m also having fun playing with our foster meowmy, she knows it’s impossible for me to say no to a wand toy! Although I wish I could play all day long, even I don’t have that much energy. Honestly, I enjoy relaxing almost as much as playing. I like to hang out on a cat tree with Mya while we watch everything that’s going on around us, chill inside a tunnel, or unwind in a nice comfy bed or on a lap. I'm looking for a family who understands it might take a little time for me to fully open up and who will offer some encouragement along the way. And I do need a furry companion to play with and keep me company. If you don't already have kitty at home, you should consider adopting me with my foster furiend Mya because we already get along! I purromise your patience and love will pay off big with me. I have lots of love to share and can’t wait to share it all with my new family! You can see more of me in my foster home here @montecore827 and my previous foster home here @gms_shykittyclub. |
